رغم أنني لم أكن هناك، إلا أنني عشت مهرجان يافع التراثي لعام 2025 بروحي قبل عيني.
تابعت تفاصيله من بعيد، لكن ما شعرت به كان أقرب من النبض.
من قلعة القارة التاريخية، أطلّت يافع على العالم بحُلة لا تشبه إلا مجدها.
كانت الأرض تنبض بالإيقاع، والقلعة تتحدث بلغة لا يفهمها إلا من يعرف معنى الانتماء.
لم يكن مجرد مهرجان، بل كان عودة إلى الجذور، إلى زمن الأجداد، حين كانت الهوية تُطرّز بالخيط والإيقاع والكلمة.
رقصات البرعة لم تكن مجرد عروض، بل كانت قصائد جسدية تحكي قصة أمة لا تنكسر، مهما تعبت.
الشعر، الملابس، الأهازيج، وحتى تفاصيل المأكولات، كلها اجتمعت لتقول للعالم:
"نحن هنا، في يافع، حيث لا يُنسى المجد، ولا تموت الروح."
تابعت الأطفال وهم يتعلمون الرقصات، وكأنهم يتعلمون لغة القلب،ورأيت النساء وكأنهن حارسات التاريخ، يحملن في أعينهن نور الأمهات والجدات.
شعرت وكأن صوت الطبول القديمة يخاطبني أنا، في غربتي، في حنيني، في لحظات بحثي عن المعنى.
مهرجان يافع التراثي 2025 لم يكن مناسبة فقط،
بل كان رسالة:
أن الهوية حين تُروى بصدق، تصل حتى من لم يحضرها.

Although I wasn’t there in person, I felt the spirit of the 2025 Yafa'a Heritage Festival deep within my soul.
From a distance, I watched as Yafa'a came alive, and yet it felt as if I were standing at the heart of it all—within the walls of the historic Al-Qarah Castle, where every stone holds a story.
This was more than a festival.
It was a journey back to our roots—a celebration of identity, resilience, and pride.
The Bar‘a dance was not merely a performance; it was a powerful expression of strength passed down through generations.
Every embroidered garment, every beat of the drum, every line of poetry, and every scent of traditional food whispered:
“This is Yafa'a where heritage is not forgotten, and pride is worn like a crown.”
I saw children learning the steps of the dance as if learning the language of their ancestors.
I saw women wrapped in elegance and dignity, carrying generations of wisdom in their eyes.
Even from afar, I felt the rhythm of the mountains, the pulse of the people, the call of belonging.
The Yafa'a Heritage Festival 2025 was not just an event it was a message:
When heritage is shared with love and truth, it reaches beyond borders and touches even the hearts of those who were never there.
